
A note on joining the research group

Undergraduate positions exist through the Independent Study (IS) courses (Chemistry 2990, 3990 and 4990). Please reach out by email at least one month before the suggested course term. Please note final decisions regarding IS position availability occur three months before the start of term, so ensure you reach out before then to guarantee consideration for available spots. After that date, applications will only be considered if there are remaining spots, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Undergraduate positions are also available for the summer, through the IS courses, or through other summer programs (i.e., NSERC, Chinook)

4th+ year students with a high GPA may complete a 6-credit Honors Thesis (Chemistry 4995) in their last year. Please reach out near the end of the Winter semester of your 3rd year if this is of interest.
